Some thoughts
Should learn the art of "Forgetting and Forgiving".Have been trying to do so for a long time.I seem to be getting better, but sometimes it just seems so hard.Shouldn't the person we forgive respond in kind or show some recognition?Maybe I am over-sensitive to others feelings. Let's see, I will keep on trying but I keep returning to the same point..don't I need to have any acknowledgement? After all, everybody needs an outlet to say what they feel. Complications are brought on in life not by "thinking" too much but by "not thinking" at all I believe.I know many of them will disagree but that's my take on any problem. As for learning to forgive and forget, well I need to practice a lot more. The anger and bitterness goes away but the scars do remain. It will take time but I will learn.

Hey Neethi,
Telepahty I can call this!
I was 'thinking' of writing something on Forgiveness.
I 'think', thinking too much can be as painful as not thinking at all.Think! And most of the time bliss, the ignorance way works better.
The scar doesnt go, very true. It needs a really unforgiving heart to let go.After all we are human beings.
Running out of words, shall write more in my blog.
Cheers!
Jyo.
hello
Many times people do not realize that they have made a mistake for them to expect you to forgive them. After all, that person's perception of wrongdoing might be totally different from yours.
"Shouldn't the person we forgive respond in kind or show some recognition?"
To me, the important word in that sentence is 'forgive'. I guess that's where the problem sets in. If it's obvious that the person has done a mistake, and is forgiven, your demand/request seems reasonable. However, if the person who you claim to be forgiving does not accept having committed a mistake in the first place, then I do wonder about your take on the issue.
Your entry could have been situational..if on hindsight you agree it was, don't you think it would be interesting to get the other party's story? Just my opinion...
Have fun...
Oh, I didn't see the previous comment.....mine was very much on the same lines....sorry for filling this up with a redundant entry..
